Founded at Guanzate (Como, Italy) in 1986, Techno began as a manufacturer of small and medium size thermoplastic products. These Techno technical items were mainly used in the electrical household appliances, automotive, electronic and electro technical, lighting and office machinery industries of several important national and international groups (Olivetti, Bitron, Elbi, ITW-Elettrogibi, etc.). In 1992 Techno was the first Italian company to obtain ISO 9002 (UNI EN ISO 9001) certification for the injection moulding of plastic sectors. Techno obtained ISO 9001:2000 later on.
